    Louise was the wife of King Frederick William III and therefore, Queen consort of Prussia. They had nine children. Her meeting with Napoleon to plead for favorable terms after the losses in the Napoleonic Wars made her be seen as "the soul of national virtue." She was used in Nazi Propaganda as an example of the ideal German woman.
